Information

Critically acclaimed, Grammy nominated singer, Stacey Kent, returns to London’s Cadogan Hall for one very special concert as part of her worldwide tour.

With career sales approaching 2 million albums, Stacey’s 11th and most recent studio album, I Know I Dream, became a highlight of her career, not only for its breath-taking beauty, but also for its assured expressiveness. This incredible piece of work follows-on from Tenderly (2015), an intimate collaboration with Brazilian music master Robert Menescal, whilst Stacey’s previous albums also include the Brazilian-flavoured The Changing Lights (2013), Dreamer In Concert(2011) which recorded live in Paris at La Cigale, her all-French Raconte-moi(2010), and the Platinum-selling, Grammy nominated Breakfast on the Morning Tram (2007).

Throughout her career, Stacey has partnered with Jim Tomlinson (saxophone) whose song-writing partnership with Nobel Prize-winning novelist Kazuo Ishiguro has come to form an essential plank in her distinctive repertoire.

For Stacey, whose international touring schedule keeps her on the road for most of the year, her return to Cadogan Hall provides a rare opportunity for UK fans see her live in concert.

‘She has charm to burn, a smile that could give you hope in February and sings like nobody’s business’ (The Wall Street Journal)

‘Devastatingly stylish’ (The Observer)

‘Stacey Kent has been quietly sitting on top of the world of jazz vocals, for many years’ (Jamie Cullum)

This concert is proud to support the Stroke Association.

Duration: approx. 2 hours (incl. interval)
