To welcome the 2020s we return to the Jazz Age of a century before and the magnificent music that accompanied the Prohibition Era. For this concert we celebrate five of the biggest names in the jazz and blues of the 1920s – Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Jelly Roll Morton, Bessie Smith and Bix Beiderbecke.

We’re delighted to feature the world’s greatest exponent of Bix style cornet, Chicago’s Andy Schumm and the renowned pianist and vintage jazz expert Keith Nichols is our Musical Director.
