Glyndebourne Festival 2027 runs from 20 May to 29 August 2027, opening with a new production of Mozart's Idomeneo, marking the first mainstage collaboration between Artistic Director Stephen Langridge and Music Director Robin Ticciati, who conducts the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment. The season brings the first new staging of Rossini's La Cenerentola at Glyndebourne in over 20 years, directed by Max Webster in his house debut, alongside South African director Yaël Farber's new production of Janáček's Jenůfa, only the second in the festival's history. Rounding out the summer are revivals of Ben Glassberg's acclaimed Carmen, starring Danielle de Niese and Rihab Chaieb, and Tom Cairns' La traviata, with 20 performances shared between Louise Alder and Elisa Verzier as Violetta. As one of the world's most celebrated country-house opera festivals, demand for Glyndebourne's summer season runs exceptionally high — book early to secure your seats.
