Spain's leading opera house opens its 2026/27 season with Puccini's Manon Lescaut, starring Sondra Radvanovsky and Saioa Hernández under conductor Nicola Luisotti, before a new co-production of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro with the Metropolitan Opera. The season brings a stellar international line-up — Anna Netrebko in Bluebeard's Castle and La Gioconda, Sonya Yoncheva in Fedora, and Jakub Józef Orliński in Handel's Riccardo Primo — across 16 productions including three oratorios, closing with Rossini's Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
